To ensure compliance with customs regulations and guidelines, we require all users to complete a digital KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process. This quick and easy process takes no more than one or two minutes and is essential for us to continue providing you with our full range of tax-related services at ZappTax.
When do I have to verify my profile?
If I never completed a KYC process with ZappTax before.
If my last KYC verification was more than a year ago.
What does KYC involve?
KYC (Know Your Customer) aims to verify that a person is indeed who they claim to be by combining a photo of themselves (selfie) with identity documents.
First, you will be asked to photograph an official identity document, such as a passport.
Then, you will need to take a selfie with Liveness and Deepfake Detection.
Using facial recognition technology, the system compares the selfie with the photo on the identity document. Simultaneously, the visible information on the document (name, date of birth, number, etc.) is analyzed to detect any potential forgery.
How can I verify my profile?
Prepare your official identity documents (photocopies or screenshots will not be accepted).
Tap on the "Account" icon in the top-right corner.
Select "Travel Documents."
How long does verification take?
The process usually takes one or two minutes, and you'll often receive verification results immediately.
